Liceo "Vittorio Veneto" meets Bundesgymnasium Babenbergerring
Ten students of the BG Babenbergerring visited the school in Latina to exchange experiences and to prepare the meeting in Malta in spring 2010. One of the emphases of the meeting was to get into contact and to prepare the future cooperation. There was an intensive intercultural exchange - for an example the Austrian students learned to play an italian game with cards. A visit at he school and a general meeting in the assembly hall of the school brought the students to a good working base.
Besides that the teachers had a meeting to plan future steps and coordinate the joint work for the second year of the partnership.
SPANISH PRESENTATION IN KOLBIEL MEETING (POLAND)
@William Gawn:
This year, 2010, is the bicentenary of the world famous Polish musician Chopin so we, the Spanish students, have prepared something special to commemorate him. Chopin has dramatically influenced music right up to the current day. Because of this, we all want to pay homage to this musical character that has been so important for the polish culture and for the world in general.

The Greek group in Poland
Visit at Kolbiel/Poland (Meeting)
The Austrian Comenius – Team of the Bundesgymnasium Babenbergerring got the opportunity to visit the partner – school in Kolbiel, Poland, for four days. Included were sightseeing tours in Warschau and Krakau.
Comenius – Representatives of Italy, Greece, Lithuania, Portugal, Scotland and Portugal were also present. Therefore, this stay turned out to be interesting, entertaining and educational.
Students from the school in Kolbiel gave an impressive performance that showed their harvest – festival traditions.
After that, the Comenius – Teams had to present themselves via a short presentation given by all members of the Teams.
Of course, that made communication and acquaintance easier.
After the performances and the presentations, a tasty meal composed of excellent polish snacks, warm and cold food, coffee and cakes, awaited us. During lunch, we could talk to our polish hosts and get to know the students.

The trip to Krakau was an interesting experience, because we had the opportunity to dive into its long, cultural and political history.
Warschau itself turned out to be quite different in its size, buildings and history. However, both places are worth being visited again!
